She was born and raised in Israel. She has traveled to the United States, Canada and Europe. Maya spent time living in New York and was a part of an international circus project as a set painter. She moved to Whitehorse in August 2014 and is currently a board director at the Yukon Art Society, teaching painting workshops across the Yukon Territory, exhibiting in varied art galleries across Canada and coordinating visual arts events. Maya’s art is inspired by nature and wilderness, and its rejuvenating, dynamic and vivid qualities. Her work reflects the connections of art, love and nature, through colors.
Maya est née en Israël. Elle a voyagé aux États-Unis, au Canada et en Europe. Elle a vécu à New York et a fait partie d’un projet international de cirque en tant que peintre. Elle est arrivée au Yukon en août 2014 et elle est membre du conseil de la “Yukon Art Society”. Elle enseigne l’art à travers le territoire, expose dans plusieurs galeries et coordonne également des évènement en arts visuels. Son travail reflète les connexions entre l’art, l’amour et la nature, à travers les couleurs.
